The production process for pet food includes multiple stages such as raw material preparation, mixing, conveying, extrusion, drying, seasoning, cooling, screening, and packaging. These stages are interconnected and together constitute a complete pet food production line.
1. Mixing Machine: This machine mixes various raw materials such as corn flour, rice flour, soybean flour, meat meal, grain flour, and additives with water in a specific ratio, ensuring thorough and uniform mixing.
2. Feeding Machine: A motor-driven screw conveyor efficiently transports the mixed raw materials to the feed hopper of the extruder, ensuring convenient and efficient feeding.
3. Twin-Screw Extruder: Under high temperature and pressure, the twin screws extrude the feed to produce feed particles of different sizes and shapes. Different production needs can be met by changing the molds in this stage.
4. Conveyor: This conveyor transports the extruded feed to the oven, preparing it for the next drying process.
5. Multi-layer Oven: Typically uses electric heating, with an adjustable temperature range of 0-200 degrees Celsius. The oven interior features a double-layer stainless steel mesh bag design to reduce the moisture content of the feed pellets, improve the cooking rate, and thus extend shelf life.
6. Seasoning Line: This line uses an oil sprayer to spray oils, palatability enhancers, and other seasonings. It is equipped with various seasoning lines, including octagonal drums, cylindrical drums, single-roller lifting drums, and double-roller drums, configured according to actual production volume and product characteristics. This stage aims to evenly spray oil onto the feed surface, while simultaneously spraying minced meat and spices to enhance flavor.
7. Cooling and Conveying: This process lowers the temperature of the feed after frying, promotes oil solidification, and further reduces the pellet temperature for subsequent packaging.
